In pictures: Running Wild at Open Air Theatre

Images of Michael Morporgo’s Running Wild at the Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre have been released ahead of its opening later this week.

A beautiful story of love, loss, loyalty and of living for the moment, Running Wild was inspired by a newspaper article about a boy who was saved from the 2004 tsunami by an elephant whom he was riding at the time and influenced by Morpurgo’s favourite childhood stories, The Jungle Book and The Elephant’s Child.

Running Wild is co-directed by Timothy Sheader and Dale Rooks, with design by Paul Wills, puppetry design and direction by Finn Caldwell and Toby Olié, original music by Rod Paton, sound score by Nick Powell and sound design by Nick Lidster for Autograph

Running Wild plays until 12 June 2016 at Regents Park Open Air Theatre.
