Andrew Lloyd Webber’s iconic musical CATS has returned to London, taking over the Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre for a limited run until 19 September 2026. Based on T.S. Eliot’s Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats, this musical has inspired generations over the decades.
It follows the tribe of Jellicle Cats who live in London on the night of the Jellicle Ball, where the wise and revered leader of the tribe must choose one cat to ascend to the Heaviside Layer and be reborn into a new Jellicle life.
One by one, the cats step forward to make their case and tell their story.
This brand-new production is directed and choreographed by Drew McOnie, who has seen recent success with productions of Jesus Christ Superstar, Brigadoon and others at the Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre.
