First Look: Running Wild in rehearsal

Rehearsals are well underway for Running Wild which kicks off Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre’s 2016 season.

With a cast of 40, Samuel Adamson’s adaptation of Michael Morpurgo’s Running Wild is co-directed by Timothy Sheader and original Chichester director Dale Rooks.

Inspired by a newspaper article about a boy who was saved from the 2004 tsunami by an elephant whom he was riding at the time and influenced by Morpurgo’s favourite childhood stories, The Jungle Book and The Elephant’s Child, Running Wild is a beautiful story of love, loss, loyalty and of living for the moment.

Running Wild runs from 13 May 2016 until 12 June 2016 at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre.
