Smash hit musical Jersey Boys celebrated 8 Years in the West End this week with a star-studded gala performance.
Following the performance it was announced the show has extended its booking period at the Piccadilly Theatre until 16 April 2017, with the release of 250,000 tickets.
Jersey Boys is a juke-box musical charting the remarkable true story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons and their rise to become one of the most successful pop bands in history, selling over 175 million records worldwide before the age of 30.
The show is packed with their hits, including Beggin’, Sherry, Walk Like A Man, December, 1963 (Oh What a Night), Big Girls Don’t Cry, My Eyes Adored You, Let’s Hang On (To What We’ve Got), Bye Bye Baby, Can’t Take My Eyes Off You, Working My Way Back to You, Fallen Angel, Rag Doll and Who Loves You.
Jersey Boys stars Matt Corner as Frankie Valli, Declan Egan as Bob Gaudio, Simon Bailey as Tommy DeVito and Matt Hunt as Nick Massi.
Also in the cast are Nicola Brazil, Stuart Dawes, Mark Dugdale, Leanne Garretty, Lucinda Gill, Nicky Griffiths, Will Haswell, Mark Heenehan, Mark Isherwood, Ben Jennings, Joe Maxwell, Nathaniel Morrison, Dan O’Brien, Chris Stoddart, Helen Ternent and Ben Wheeler.
