Major in London
James Graham reunites with director Jeremy Herrin following their acclaimed production of This House, for a brand new play, Major, coming to the Olivier Theatre at the National Theatre.
Rising from humble Whip to Prime Minister in record time, John Major took over from Margaret Thatcher with an entirely new leadership style, at a pivotal moment when the UK was redefining its relationship with Europe. Major asks a question that feels as urgent now as it did then: at times of change, what does true leadership actually look like?
Casting and creative are expected to be announced at a later date.
