Broadway hit musical comedy The Addams Family is coming to London in 2023

Look who’s moved into the neighbourhood! Everyone’s favourite kooky family are now on stage in this spectacular musical comedy. Following a smash-hit UK tour in 2022, The Addams Family, A Musical Comedy will arrive in London’s West End for a limited season in 2023.

Featuring an original story, the show is based on The Addams Family characters created by cartoonist Charles Addams; a satirical inversion of the perfect American family who like all things macabre and ghoulish.

What's the story of The Addams Family?

The Addams Family features an original story, and it’s every father’s nightmare.

Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family. A man her parents have never met. And if that weren’t upsetting enough, she confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother.

Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before — keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents.

Who are the creative team of The Addams Family?

The Addams Family has music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa and a book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice.
