The forthcoming West End premiere of Romeo & Juliet starring Sadie Sink and Noah Jupe is extending its run at the Harold Pinter Theatre in London.
Directed and adapted by Olivier Award winner Robert Icke (Oedipus), Romeo & Juliet was originally booking at the Harold Pinter Theatre from 18 March to 6 June 2026.
Due to exceptional demand, the show has now been extended in the West End, and is playing until 20 June 2026.
In Robert Icke’s production, a digital clock counts down the minutes in a story in which time and fate are heightened, and Sliding Doors moments suggest alternative scenarios for the star-crossed lovers.
The stars of Romeo & Juliet
Romeo & Juliet will feature a starry cast, headlined by Stranger Things’ Sadie Sink (John Proctor is the Villain) as Juliet, and Hollywood actor Noah Jupe (Hamnet, A Quiet Place) as Romeo. Both actors are making their West End debuts in the production.
They are joined by acting heavyweights Clare Perkins (The Wheel of Time; Player Kings, West End) as Nurse, John Marquez (Doc Martin; Pygmalion, The Old Vic) as Friar Laurence, Clark Gregg (Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D; Good Night, and Good Luck, Broadway) as Capulet, and Kasper Hilton-Hille (Dear England, Troilus & Cressida, Shakespeare’s Globe) as Friar John and Mercutio.

The full company is completed by Dylan Corbett-Bader as Benvolio, Eden Epstein as Lady Capulet, Alex Felton as Abraham, Ada Grey as First Servant, Aruna Jalloh as Tybalt, Caroline Moroney as Second Servant, David Shelley as Apothecary/Montague, Lewis Shepherd as Paris, and Alexander Uzoka as Gregory.
Romeo & Juliet is produced in the West End by Empire Street Productions (Prima Facie, Sunday in the Park with George).
Sadie Sink & Noah Jupe talk R&J
Sadie, Noah and Robert Icke were recently interviewed in British Vogue. Robert Icke said that the production was inspired by Stranger Things star Sadie Sink, telling Vogue: “It didn’t start with me shopping around to do Romeo and Juliet. It started with me looking at Sadie and thinking, ‘What could you do?’”
Noah was also interviewed recently, with an accompanying steamy photoshoot, for Perfect magazine; and the Hollywood pair appeared on Heart Radio’s Breakfast show to talk about why they love Romeo & Juliet so much, and their hopes of inspiring a whole new generation of theatre fans.
Also last month, Sadie and Noah presented an award at the BAFTA Film Awards in London.
