Brand new production photos are out for hit show Marie & Rosetta starring Beverley Knight.

Also the British queen of soul and West End superstar Beverley Knight recently delighted fans by releasing a behind-the-scenes video of rehearsals for her new London show Marie & Rosetta.

The Quick Take: Beverley Knight’s new West End project Marie & Rosetta isn’t a musical! The show is officially billed as a play-with-music, but given the show is about Rosetta Tharpe – the godmother of rock ’n’ roll, and her protégé Marie Knight, extraordinary songs come thick and fast in this buzzy new show at @SohoPlace Theatre.

Marie & Rosetta is now playing at the West End’s @SohoPlace Theatre, fresh from a successful mini UK tour that included the Rose Theatre in London, where it opened to strong reviews from the critics, Wolverhampton and Chichester.

Multi-award-winning singer and actor Beverley Knight (Memphis, The Drifters’ Girl, Sylvia, Sister Act) stars as the real-life godmother of rock ’n’ roll, Rosetta Tharpe in the show, alongside Rosetta’s friend and singing partner Marie Knight, played by rising star Ntombizodwa Ndlovu.
