Danny Boyle’s landmark 2002 horror 28 Days Later will take on a terrifying new form next year. The film arrives at London’s Eventim Apollo for 28 Days Later Live in Concert on Saturday 10 January 2026.

The one-night-only event will see John Murphy’s visceral score performed live by orchestra, rock band, and guest vocalists, accompanying a full screening of Boyle’s post-apocalyptic masterpiece.

Audiences can expect a “hair-raising evening of symphonic Rage” as the film’s viral outbreak and desolate imagery are amplified through the power of live music. The event, produced by Lambert Jackson, marks the first time 28 Days Later has been presented in concert form.

From Labyrinth to The Lion King: The Rise of Film Concert Experiences

The announcement follows a growing wave of cinematic concert experiences captivating UK audiences.

Current highlights include The Terminator Live, which is touring with Brad Fiedel’s iconic synth score performed by the Avex Ensemble, and Jim Henson’s Labyrinth: In Concert also touring the UK with David Bowie’s legendary soundtrack played live by a full band.

Together, these events underscore a growing appetite for large-scale, immersive film-in-concert experiences that fuse the power of cinema and live performance.

Lambert Jackson: A Season of Spectacular Live Events

28 Days Later Live in Concert continues a prolific period for Lambert Jackson, whose 2025–26 slate showcases a diverse mix of theatrical concerts and star-led events.

Among their upcoming highlights is Samantha Barks’ Cathedral Tour, opening this November and including a London headline performance at the Adelphi Theatre on 11 November. The tour offers audiences an intimate, candlelit evening with the West End and Broadway star, ahead of her role in the world premiere of The Greatest Showman musical at the Bristol Hippodrome next year.

Lambert Jackson are also behind Julian Ovenden’s Cathedral Tour, beginning 7 January 2026, taking the acclaimed performer to venues including Glasgow’s Cottiers Theatre, Ely Cathedral, and Chester Cathedral.

Meanwhile, the company scored record-breaking sales with Jason Robert Brown’s The Last Five Years, starring Ben Platt and Rachel Zegler, which sold out its week-long run at the London Palladium in just 48 hours following Zegler’s two sold-out solo shows at the same venue.

For one night only, audiences will relive the viral horror that redefined British cinema — louder, darker, and more alive than ever.
