Kermit, Miss Piggy, and Michael Caine are heading to Hammersmith this Christmas for a massive live-to-film concert event.
Disney’s holiday masterpiece, The Muppet Christmas Carol, is set to take over London’s Eventim Apollo on 28 November 2026, marking the start of its 15-date UK tour.
The special event, Disney’s The Muppet Christmas Carol in Concert Live to Film, will feature a screening of the complete film, with its iconic musical score performed live-to-picture by a full orchestra.
Released in 1992, The Muppet Christmas Carol stars legendary Oscar-winner Michael Caine as Ebenezer Scrooge, alongside a cast of beloved Muppets. From Kermit the Frog’s turn as the humble Bob Cratchit to Gonzo and Rizzo the Rat’s hilarious narration, the production remains one of the most heart-warming adaptations of the Dickens classic.
At the centre of the “Live to Film” experience is the soundtrack, performed live in sync with the film by a full orchestra. The beloved film features Miles Goodman’s original score (Little Shop of Horrors) alongside Paul Williams’ songs, including “One More Sleep ’til Christmas”, “Marley and Marley” and “Thankful Heart”.
