Opening tonight (1 October 2014) at the Old Vic, Ian Rickson directs Kristin Scott Thomas in Sophocles’ tragedy Electra.

Performed in the round, Rickson and Scott Thomas reunite following their acclaimed revival of Harold Pinter’s Old Times.

Adapted by Frank McGuinness, this new production features Hollywood actress Kristin Scott Thomas as Electra, Olivier and Ian Charleson Award winner Jack Lowden as Orestes, Amanda Drew as Chrysothemis and Diana Quick as Clytemnestra.
