Richard Schiff and Nigel Lindsay join Lindsay Lohan in Speed-the-Plow

Richard Schiff and Nigel Lindsay to join Lindsay Lohan in David Mamet’s Speed-the-Plow at the Playhouse Theatre.

Further casting has been announced for the forthcoming West End revival of Speed-the-Plow at the Playhouse Theatre.

Directed by Lindsay Posner, David Mamet’s play will see Richard Schiff and Nigel Lindsay join the cast alongside previously announced actress Lindsay Lohan.

Speed-the-Plow starts previews on 24 September at the Playhouse Theatre, playing until 29 November 2014.

In the drama Richard Schiff plays high-powered Hollywood producer Bobby Gould, with Nigel Lindsay as fellow producer Charlie Fox. Both are convinced that their new project featuring a big Hollywood is going to be a hit, until secretary Karen (Lindsay Lohan) derails the project.

Richard Schiff’s TV and film credits include his Emmy Award-winning role as Toby Ziegler in The West Wing, Murder in the First, Manhatten and Once Upon a Time. Stage work includes Underneath the Lintel, Hughie and Glengarry Glen Ross.

Nigel Lindsay is a veteran West End actor with credits including Shrek The Musical, Richard II, A Small Family Business, Dealer’s Choice and Guys and Dolls.

The play is produced by Danny Moar and Simon Friend for Theatre Royal Bath Productions.
