Helen McCrory stars as Medea in this new production of Euripides’ tragedy directed by award-winning Carrie Cracknell (A Doll’s House).
Helen McCrory returns to the National Theatre following acclaimed performances in The Last Of The Haussmans and The Seagull.
In the play Medea must live in exile with her sons for the sake of her husband, Jason. But when Jason abandons her for a new life, she exacts an appalling revenge that destroys her entire world.
Adapted in a brand new version by Ben Power, the production features music by Goldfrapp.
