Get tickets to 4.48 Psychosis – Sarah Kanes final haunting play

Twenty-five years after its debut, the entire original cast and creative team reunite at the Royal Court Theatre Upstairs to revisit Kane’s powerful masterpiece.

4.48 Psychosis takes audiences deep into the mind of an unnamed protagonist struggling with severe depression, offering an unflinching portrayal of a psyche on the brink of collapse.

In a co-production with the Royal Shakespeare Company, this revival is directed by the award-winning James Macdonald (Waiting for Godot, West End), with Daniel Evans, Jo McInnes, and Madeleine Potter returning to their original roles.

4.48 Psychosis ran from 12 June 2025 until 5 July 2025 at the Royal Court Theatre in London; and is playing at the RSC in Stratford-upon-Avon from 10 to 27 July 2025.

‘I dreamt that I went to the doctors, and she gave me eight minutes to live. I’d been sitting in the fucking waiting room for half an hour’
