The Society of London Theatre has announced the hosts of this year’s Olivier Awards.
Gemma Arterton and Stephen Mangan will take on the hosting duties of this year’s awards, to be held at the Royal Opera House on Sunday 13 April.
More details have also been announced about the night including that the set for the show will be built by I Can’t Sing! The X Factor Musical designer Es Devlin, and voiceover announcements of the nominees will be recorded by Julie Walters.
The Olivier Awards will be broadcast by ITV in a highlights package on the night, and the awards will be screened live to fans in Covent Garden.
Gemma Arterton is a British film and stage actress who will play the lead this autumn in Rupert Goold’s new production of Made In Dagenham The Musical at the Adelphi Theatre.
Stephen Mangan is a TV and stage comedian who is currently appearing in Jeeves & Wooster In Perfect Nonsense at the Duke of York’s Theatre.
