A star-studded concert production of Stephen Sondheim revue Sondheim on Sondheim at Alexandra Palace Theatre in London.

This exclusive concert offers an intimate portrait of famed songwriter Stephen Sondheim in his own words and music, performed by a talented cast including Georgina Onuorah (Kiss Me Kate, Oklahoma!), Jenna Russell (EastEnders, Hello, Dolly!), Scarlett Strallen (Mary Poppins, A Chorus Line), Jak Malone (Operation Mincemeat), Clive Rowe (The Baker’s Wife), Jack Wolfe (Next to Normal), Lucca Chadwick-Patel (Mean Girls, Mamma Mia!), and Josefina Gabrielle (Chicago, Oklahoma!).

Accompanied by a live 14-piece orchestra onstage, a carefully curated selection of two dozen of Sondheim’s extraordinary songs are woven with in-depth video interviews that explore Sondheim’s personal and artistic journey.

Stephen Sondheim songs are from many of his most acclaimed musicals including West Side Story, Company, Follies, A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum, Sunday In The Park With George, Merrily We Roll Along, Passion, Sweeney Todd, Into The Woods, and more.

Sondheim on Sondheim in Concert is playing at the Alexandra Palace Theatre on 20 and 21 October 2024.
