An exclusive booking period for the new 2024 season of Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre has now opened, with tickets now available.
Set within the beautiful Regent’s Park in London, the Open Air Theatre’s 2024 season offers four contrasting productions that will entertain everyone, from a sparkling revival of a classic Shakespeare comedy, to stage adaptations of two much-loved children’s books, and a revival of a big Broadway classic musical.
The season starts with a glamorous new production of Shakespeare’s comedy Twelfth Night. Running from 3 May to 8 June 2024, the production is set against the heat of the Mediterranean sun. Shakespeare’s comedy of mistaken identities is a glorious celebration of love, in this new production directed by Owen Horsley.
Also playing in daytimes, and for young children and their families, is a fabulously fun new stage adaptation of Roald Dahl’s The Enormous Crocodile, from 17 May to 8 June 2024.
This brand new musical version of Roald Dahl’s much-loved picture book The Enormous Crocodile will weave its way through the jungle to Regent’s Park this summer.
Up next is The Secret Garden, from 15 June to 20 July 2024.
Frances Hodgson Burnett’s beloved and radical story The Secret Garden, about the magic of nature and the nature of magic, is adapted in a magical new version for Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre.
Finally in the 2024 season, musical Fiddler on the Roof is playing from 27 July to 21 September 2024.
Classic Broadway show Fiddler on the Roof is the big musical at the Open Air Theatre this summer. A show about joy, revolution and community, Fiddler on the Roof is an exuberant celebration of love and life featuring glorious songs including ‘If I Were A Rich Man’, ‘Tradition’, ‘Matchmaker’ and ‘Sunrise, Sunset’.
