Further casting, albeit appearing on video rather than live, has been announced for the West End run of Rosie Day’s new play Instructions for a Teenage Armageddon at London’s the Garrick Theatre.
Already announced is Bridgerton star Charithra Chandran, who makes her West End debut in this one-person show that previously premiered last year at Southwark Playhouse.
Joining Chandran in pre-recorded videos designed by Dan Light will be Shelley Conn (Bridgerton), Philip Glenister (Life on Mars) and Isabella Pappas (Stranger Things: The First Shadow).
Instructions for a Teenage Armageddon is directed by Georgie Staight, with Set and Costume Design by Jasmine Swan, Lighting Design by Rory Beaton, Video Design by Dan Light, and the Associate Director is Hanna Khogali.
In the play, after her sister’s untimely death by a Yorkshire Pudding, a funny teenage misfit begrudgingly joins a flailing scout group to help her navigate the kicks and punches of adolescence with varying degrees of success.
Instructions for a Teenage Armageddon will play at the Garrick Theatre on Sundays, at 2.30pm and 6pm, from 17 March to 28 April 2024.
