Rosie Day’s new play Instructions for a Teenage Armageddon is getting a limited run at the West End’s Garrick Theatre.
Making her West End stage debut will be Bridgerton star Charithra Chandran.
The one-person show previously premiered last year at the Southwark Playhouse, and will run at the Garrick Theatre on Sundays, at 2.30pm and 6pm, from 17 March to 28 April 2024.
Instructions for a Teenage Armageddon is directed by Georgie Staight, with Set and Costume Design by Jasmine Swan, Lighting Design by Rory Beaton, Video Design by Dan Light, and the Associate Director is Hanna Khogali.
In the play, after her sister’s untimely death by a Yorkshire Pudding, a funny teenage misfit begrudgingly joins a flailing scout group to help her navigate the kicks and punches of adolescence with varying degrees of success.
Charithra Chandran is an actor, producer and activist who came to international prominence as Edwina Sharma in Season Two of Netflix’s Regency-era drama Bridgerton.
Her other TV credits include Alex Rider, and she will next be seen in Alex Sanjiv Pillai’s romantic comedy How to Date Billy Walsh.
