Olivier and Tony Award-winning musical The Book of Mormon is hitting the road again in 2024, with new UK and European tour dates.
The UK stops on the tour will include Manchester’s Palace Theatre, Edinburgh’s Playhouse and Birmingham’s Alexandra Theatre.
The hilarious musical is written by South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone, plus Avenue Q’s Robert Lopez, and follows a pair of Mormon boys sent on a mission to a place that’s a long way from Salt Lake City!
The last UK tour had a rough ride because of Covid, with a number of venues having to cancel in 2021 and 2022 including the Birmingham Hippodrome; and cancelled performances at the Manchester Palace Theatre when the whole of the cast and crew of the show got Covid.
The Book of Mormon also continues to play to packed houses at the West End’s Prince of Wales Theatre in London. Earlier this year the show celebrated its 10th birthday in the West End.
The UK tour dates for 2024 are: Manchester Palace Theatre from 11 September 2024 to 5 October 2024; Edinburgh Playhouse from 15 October 2024 to 2 November 2024; and Birmingham Alexandra Theatre from 3 December 2024 to 28 December 2024.
Tickets are now on sale for ATG Priority members, with general booking opening this Friday, 10 November 2023.
