An extraordinary new production of Shakespeare’s Othello at Riverside Studios in London.

Martins Imhangbe (Bridgerton) plays Othello in this fast-paced version of Shakespeare’s tragedy, with Iago played by three actors: Michael C. Fox (Downton Abbey), Orlando James (Stillness Breathes Softly Against A Brick Wall) and Jeremy Neumark Jones (Private Peaceful).

The cast also includes Rose Riley (Hamnet) as Desdemona, Rachel-Leah Hosker (Shut Up, I’m Dreaming) as Emilia/Roderigo, and Ryan O’Doherty (Loki) as Cassio/Brabantio.

Featuring live music composed by Michael C. Fox, this imaginative and fresh take on Othello is conceived by director Sinéad Rushe, and allows audiences to be fully immersed in the story.

Othello is playing at the Riverside Studios from 4 to 29 October 2023.

Othello is at the peak of his success: in life, in war, and in love until he finds himself utterly betrayed by the person he has trusted most: ‘honest’ Iago, appearing as one shape-shifting, corrosive force thrillingly dramatised by three performers.
