Disney’s The Sound of Magic will be staged at the London Coliseum this November, it has been announced.
The live-to-film concert will feature the Novello Symphony Orchestra performing live to accompany film, featuring a host of Disney characters.
Fans can expect animated sequences from recent hits including Moana, Encanto, Frozen and classics such as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Fantasia, Alice in Wonderland, The Jungle Book, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, and The Lion King.
Disney’s The Sound of Magic is one of the many special events The Walt Disney Company is staging to celebrate their 100th anniversary this year. Another production is Disney 100: The Concert which is touring the UK and Europe. Current West End Disney musicals include The Lion King and Frozen.
Disney’s The Sound of Magic production team includes creative director Amy Tinkham, music director Giles Martin and arranger/orchestrator Ben Foster.
