Photos are in from rehearsals for the forthcoming The Old Vic revival of George Bernard Shaw’s Pygmalion.
Directed by Richard Jones, Pygmalion starts its run at The Old Vic on 6 September 2023, playing to 28 October 2023.
The behind-the-scenes photos by Manuel Harlan reveal Pygmalion stars Bertie Carvel (The 47th, The Crown) as Professor Henry Higgins and Patsy Ferran (A Streetcar Named Desire) as Eliza Doolittle rehearsing for the play.
The first-rate cast also includes Michael Gould as Colonel Pickering, Sylvestra Le Touzel as Mrs Higgins, John Marquez as Alfred Doolittle, Taheen Modak as Freddy Eynsford Hill, Penny Layden as Mrs Pearce, plus Lizzy Connolly (Clara Eynsford Hill), Grace Cookey-Gam (Mrs Eynsford Hill), Steven Dykes (Ensemble), Liz Jadav (Ensemble), Caroline Moroney (Ensemble), Rohan Rakhit (Ensemble) and Kieran Smith (Aristid Karpathy).

Tim Minchin musical Groundhog Day starring Andy Karl is now in its final week at The Old Vic, running to 12 August 2023.
This Christmas at The Old Vic sees the return of their hit production of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, from 11 November 2023 to 6 January 2024, this year starring Christopher Eccleston.
