Christopher Eccleston is playing Ebenezer Scrooge in A Christmas Carol at The Old Vic theatre in London.
Christopher Eccleston’s previous theatre credits include Miss Julie (West End); Macbeth (RSC/Barbican); Hamlet (West Yorkshire Playhouse, Leeds); and Antigone (National theatre).
His TV credits include True Detective – Night Country, Accused – Emmy Award-winner for Best Performance by an Actor, Flesh and Blood, The Shadowline, Lennon Naked, The Leftovers, The A Word, Come Home, Dodger, Cracker, Hillsborough, Our Friends in The North, The Second Coming.
Film work includes the upcoming Young Woman and the Sea, Let Him Have It, Shallow Grave, Jude, Elizabeth, 24 Hour Party People, 28 Days Later, Legend.
Christopher’s memoir, I Love The Bones of You, was published in 2019. He is also an ambassador for The Big Issue.
