Dumbledore Is So Gay to play Southwark Playhouse Borough starring Alex Britt

Hit comedy Dumbledore Is So Gay is coming back to London this summer 2023, to play Southwark Playhouse Borough.

Robert Holtom’s play is a nostalgia-fuelled homage to Harry Potter, coming out and coming of age in the early 2000s.

The show has had two successful London runs – at the VAULT Festival and Pleasance Theatre, and was a VAULT Festival Origins Award winner and Offie-nominated.

The comedy will star Alex Britt (Black Mirror, EastEnders, F**King Men) as Jack, Charlotte Dowding (Splintered, Wind and the Willows) as Gemma and Martin Sarreal as Ollie (Tammy Faye, Corrina Corrina, Sin).

The creative team includes: Director Tom Wright; Movement Director Rachael Nanyonjo; Set And Costume Design Natalie Johnson; Lighting Design Rory Beaton; Sound Design Peter Wilson; and Associate Director Jennifer Davis.

Dumbledore Is So Gay will play Southwark Playhouse Borough from 16 August to 23 September 2023.
