Smash-hit West End show Tina – The Tina Turner Musical is celebrating a major milestone this week.
The musical based on the life of legendary music superstar Tina Turner is celebrating its 5th anniversary in London, having played at the Aldwych Theatre since its official opening night on 17 April 2018.
Tina – The Tina Turner Musical recently added new dates to its run, and is now booking to 11 February 2024.
Tina has broken all Box Office records at the Aldwych Theatre, and producers of the show dropped a video featuring some of the highlights of the last five years.
The video includes director by Phyllida Lloyd, and writer of the show – Pulitzer Prize-winner Katori Hall. Frank Ketelaar and Kees Prins are also credited writers on the musical.
To celebrate the milestone, a special gala charity performance of Tina took place on 18 April 2023 at the Aldwych Theatre, partnering with Women’s Aid.

The acclaimed show stars Elesha Paul Moses and Kristina Love, who share the role of Tina Turner, with Caleb Roberts playing Ike.
Other cast include Paula Kay as Tina’s mother Zelma Bullock, Charis Alexandra as Tina’s sister Alline Bullock, George Jennings as Tina’s Manager Roger Davies, Irene Myrtle Forrester as Tina’s Grandmother, Kelly Hampson as Ike and Tina’s manager Rhonda Graam, Gregory Haney as Tina’s father Richard Bullock, Cordell Mosteller as Tina’s first love Raymond Hill, Chris Grahamson as Record Producer Phil Spector and Lyricist Terry Britten and Joseph Richardson as record company Marketing Manager Erwin Bach.
