The West End production of Tina – The Tina Turner Musical has added new dates to its run at the Aldwych Theatre in London. Tickets for Tina – The Tina Turner Musical are now booking to 11 February 2024, and are now on sale.
Elesha Paul Moses and Kristina Love share the role of Tina in the show, with Caleb Roberts playing Ike.
Other cast in the show include Paula Kay as Tina’s mother Zelma Bullock, Charis Alexandra as Tina’s sister Alline Bullock, George Jennings as Tina’s Manager Roger Davies, Irene Myrtle Forrester as Tina’s Grandmother, Kelly Hampson as Ike and Tina’s manager Rhonda Graam, Gregory Haney as Tina’s father Richard Bullock, Cordell Mosteller as Tina’s first love Raymond Hill, Chris Grahamson as Record Producer Phil Spector and Lyricist Terry Britten and Joseph Richardson as record company Marketing Manager Erwin Bach.
The show, which celebrates 5 years in the West End, received its world premiere in April 2018 in London and subsequently broke all Box Office records at the Aldwych Theatre. Tina is directed by Phyllida Lloyd and written by Pulitzer Prize-winner Katori Hall with Frank Ketelaar and Kees Prins.
The smash-hit musical is based on the life of legendary music superstar Tina Turner.
In March 2023, the German production opened at the Stage Apollo Theater in Stuttgart following a successful run in Hamburg which opened in 2019. The North America tours continues following the 12 Tony Awards nominated production on Broadway and productions at the Beatrix Theater, Utrecht and the Teatro Coliseum in Madrid.
