As the sequins settle on last night’s Olivier Awards extravaganza at the Royal Albert Hall, let’s take stock with some of the video highlights from the night.

The starry night at the Royal Albert Hall saw Ted Lasso star and West End darling Hannah Waddingham lead proceedings, surrounded by a galaxy of West End theatre royalty.
Winners of this year’s Olivier Awards included Paul Mescal, Jodie Comer, Beverley Knight and more, with shows honoured including Standing at the Sky’s Edge, Oklahoma!, A Streetcar Named Desire, and My Neighbour Totoro. Check out the full list of Olivier Awards winners.
The Opening Number
Hannah kicked off the night with a spectacular original number, that was specially written by West End composer Pippa Cleary (The Great British Bake Off Musical), and accompanied by many of the casts of the West End’s biggest musicals, including The Lion King, Moulin Rouge!, Mamma Mia!, The Book of Mormon, Jersey Boys, Tina – The Tina Turner Musical, Cabaret, and more.
Paul Mescal accepts his Olivier Award
Paul mescal won Best Actor at this year’s Olivier Awards, for his performance in A Streetcar Named Desire.
Standing at the Sky’s Edge perform
The cast of the five-star hit musical Standing at the Sky’s Edge – which is returning to London next year – sang the title song from the show. The musical won Best New Musical at the Olivier Awards
Beverley Knight and the cast of Sister Act perform
Beverley Knight and the cast of Sister Act performed “Raise your Voice” from the hit musical. Beverley won best supporting actress in a musical for her performance in another musical – Sylvia at The Old Vic.
Anjana Vasan accepts her Olivier Award
Anjana won best supporting actress for A Streetcar Named Desire
Oklahoma! cast performs
The cast of Oklahoma! performed a “I Can’t Say No / Oklahoma” medly. The show picked up Best Musical Revival at the Olivier Awards.
Newsies cast performs
Disney’s Newsies also performed a medley at the Olivier Awards, and the show’s choreographer Matt Cole won the award for best theatre choreography.
