We follow eight amateur baking contestants as they compete to impress two iconic judges and battle their way to be crowned champion Star Baker. The cast stars John Owen-Jones (Les Misèrables, The Phantom of the Opera), reprising his role as silver-fox judge Phil Hollinghurst, and Haydn Gwynne (Billy Elliot the Musical, The Windsors) as stylish, sharp-tongued judge Pam Lee.

Haydn Gwynne joins the cast of The Great British Bake Off Musical
Full casting has been announced for The Great British Bake Off Musical coming to the West End's Noel Coward Theatre in February 2023. Haydn Gwynne (Anything Goes, Billy Elliot the Musical, TV: The Crown, The Windsors) joins the principal line-up alongside previously announced West End and Broadway star John Owen-Jones. The four-time Olivier Award-nominee and BAFTA-nominee will play Pam Lee the iconically stylish, sharp-tongued judge. Also joining the principal cast are former Pop Idol contestant turned West End singing sensation Zoe Birkett (Moulin Rouge! The show had a successful run in the Summer at the Everyman Theatre Cheltenham, and there were high hopes that the new musical would transfer. Set to appear in the show are John Owen-Jones (Les Misèrables, The Phantom of the Opera), reprising his role as silver-fox judge Phil Hollinghurst. Joining him will be Scott Paige (The Addams Family) as a presenter.
