Show-stopping new comedy musical The Great British Bake Off Musical perfectly reimagines the nation’s favourite baking show in this funny and charming musical comedy.
Featuring Les Mis and Phantom star John Owen-Jones and The Windsors star Haydn Gwynne, prepare to follow the baking highs and lows of a group of contestants, the judges and presenters as Bake Off comes to the London stage in 2023.
The fabulous cast also includes West End stars Zoe Birkett, Claire Moore, Charlotte Wakefield, Damian Humbley, Grace Mouat, Michael Cahill and many more.
The Great British Bake Off Musical is playing at the Noel Coward Theatre in London for 12 weeks only, from 25 February to 13 May 2023.
What's the story of The Great British Bake Off Musical?
We follow eight amateur baking contestants as they compete to impress two iconic judges and battle their way to be crowned champion Star Baker. Each with their own stories to tell, the audience is taken on a heart-warming journey as the contestant’s face trials, tribulations and baking failures along the way.
Who is in the cast of The Great British Bake Off Musical?
The cast stars John Owen-Jones (Les Misèrables, The Phantom of the Opera), reprising his role as silver-fox judge Phil Hollinghurst, and Haydn Gwynne (Billy Elliot the Musical, The Windsors) as stylish, sharp-tongued judge Pam Lee. Joining them will be Scott Paige (The Addams Family) and Zoe Birkett (Moulin Rouge! The Musical, The Bodyguard) as presenters.
Also appearing are Claire Moore (Mary Poppins), Charlotte Wakefield (The Boy In The Dress), Damian Humbley (Merrily We Roll Along), Jay Saighal (Hedda Gabler), Grace Mouat (SIX, Cinderella, Legally Blonde), Michael Cahill (Martin Guerre), Aharon Rayner, Louis Gaudencio (Aladdin), Gabriella Stylianou and Annette Yeo (The Phantom of the Opera).
The cast also features Georgie Westall (The Rocky Horror Show), Stuart Hickey (Come From Away) and Jamil Abbasi as understudies, and Aanya Shah, Amelie Rouse and Maisy Mein share the child role of Lily.
Who are the creative team of The Great British Bake Off Musical?
The Great British Bake Off Musical has an original score by Jake Brunger and Pippa Cleary (The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole, Aged 13¾), is directed by multi award-winning Rachel Kavanaugh and designed by Alice Power.
The creative team also includes choreographer Georgina Lamb, set, costume and cake designer Alice Power, lighting designer Ben Cracknell, sound designer Ben Harrison, orchestrations Tom Curran, musical supervisor Mark Collins, assistant musical director Chris Poon and casting director Jim Arnold CDG.
