Rehearsal images of Bonnie & Clyde The Musical have been released ahead of the shows West End transfer to the Garrick Theatre this week.
Frances Mayli McCann (Heathers The Musical) and Jordan Luke Gage (& Juliet, Bat Out of Hell) star as Bonnie & Clyde Barrow, alongside the Olivier Award winning Georgie Maguire reprising his role as ‘Buck Barrow’ and Jodie Steele as ‘Blanche Barrow’, with Cleve September returning as ‘Ted’ and Dom Hartley-Harris as ‘Preacher’.
Completing the cast at the Garrick Theatre are: Robbie Scotcher, Alexander Evans, Kit Esuruoso, Barney Wilkinson, Lauren Jones, Julie Yammanee, Pippa Winslow, Chloe Saunders, Charlie McCullagh, Sydnie Hocknell and Michael Cortez.
Fearless, shameless, and alluring, Bonnie & Clyde is the electrifying story of love, adventure and crime that captured the attention of an entire country in depression era America. The show features the songs “Raise A Little Hell”, “This World Will Remember Me” and “Made In America”. The production previously ran at the Arts Theatre and a concert version of the show was staged at Theatre Royal Drury Lane last year. In a surprise omission, the show failed to pick up any nominations in the just announced 2023 Olivier Awards nominations.
Bonnie & Clyde has a book by Ivan Menchell, a Tony Award nominated score by Frank Wildhorn, lyrics by Don Black, arrangements and orchestrations by John McDaniel.
Due to overwhelming demand the show returns to London’s West End for a limited 11-week run at the Garrick Theatre from 4 March to 20 May 2023
