Get tickets to Tambo & Bones in London
Acclaimed Tambo & Bones returns to Stratford East following a sold-out season in 2023.
The show seriously… hilariously… roasts America’s racist past, wrestles America’s racist present, and explodes America’s post-racial future — where what’s at stake, for those deemed less-than-human, is the fate of humanity itself.
Tambo & Bones stars Clifford Samuel (2:22 A Ghost Story, McMafia) as Tambo, and Daniel Ward (Cat on A Hot Tin Roof, Rebellion) reprises his role as Bones.
Presented by Theatre Royal Stratford East and Actors Touring Company, this rags-to-riches hip-hop journey and satirical rollercoaster of a show is part distorted clown-show, part spectacular hip-hop concert!
So accept our invitation, if you will, to step from the heart of the crumbling Empire into an America at the epicentre of the global Black Lives Matter movement.
Tambo & Bones runs at the Theatre Royal Stratford East from 29 April to 10 May 2025.
Tambo and Bones are two characters trapped in a minstrel show. It’s mad hard to feel like a real person when you’re trapped in a minstrel show. Their escape plan: get out, get bank, get even!
