Watch Jamie Muscato sing “However Hard I Try” from Lady M

New musical Lady M has released a video of West End star Jamie Muscato singing a song from the show.

Jamie performs the song “”However Hard I Try” from new musical Lady M, created and written by James Beeny and Gina Georgio. The single has also been released and is available to stream and download on all platforms.

Jamie is currently starring as Christian in Moulin Rouge! The Musical at the Piccadilly Theatre in London. His other West End credits include Les Misérables, Heathers The Musical, Big Fish, Lazarus, Bend it Like Beckham, Rock of Ages, Love Story and Spring Awakening.

Based on Shakespeare’s Macbeth, Lady M tells the untold story of Lady Macbeth. Chilling flashbacks of her haunted past are woven into this reimagining of the famous tale of murder and power, revealing an original backstory to Lady Macbeth’s villainy and downfall.

As a musical, Lady M has had two development workshops in London, directed by Jean-Pierre Van Der Spuy and choreographed by Lizzi Gee, and performed by George Blagden, Kerry Ellis, Phoebe Fildes, Robert Hands, Jamie Muscato, Maiya Quansah-Breed, Karl Queensborough and others.

Jamie Muscato said in a press statement: “I can’t wait for people to hear ‘However Hard I Try’. James and Gina have written an awesome musical saga based on Shakespeare’s classic story. I had great fun working on it with them and I hope people enjoy the song!”
