New production images have been released for West End show & Juliet at the Shaftesbury Theatre.

The smash-hit musical is currently running at the Shaftesbury Theatre, booking to 25 March 2023.

& Juliet stars Olivier Award winners Miriam-Teak Lee as Juliet and Cassidy Janson as Anne Hathaway, Oliver Tompsett as William Shakespeare, Nicolas Colicos as Lance, Billy Nevers as Francois, Joe Foster as May, Tom Francis as Romeo, and Malinda Parris as Angelique, the Nurse.

The Broadway production of & Juliet has just started previews at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre in New York, starring Lorna Courtney (West Side Story, Dear Evan Hansen) as Juliet, and original UK cast member Melanie La Barrie as Nurse, plus Tony winner Paulo Szot as Lance, Betsy Wolfe as Anne Hathaway, Stark Sands as William Shakespeare, Justin David Sullivan as May, Ben Jackson Walker as Romeo, and Philippe Arroyo as Francois.

The show features the music of songwriter Max Martin, with many of hits written for Backstreet Boys, Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, Katy Perry and Ariana Grande, included such as  Baby One More Time, Everybody (Backstreet’s Back), Love Me Like You Do, Confident, It’s My Life, Can’t Feel My Face and the roof-raising Roar.

& Juliet is directed by Luke Sheppard, with a book by David West Read (Schitt’s Creek), choreography from Jennifer Weber, set design from Soutra Gilmour and costume design by Paloma Young. The music is arranged by Tony® and Grammy Award-winning orchestrator Bill Sherman.
