The book for the musical is written by Tim Firth, whose credits include recent Gary Barlow collaboration Gary Barlow – A Different Stage at the Duke of York’s Theatre; Olivier Award winning musical Our House, This is My Family, Neville’s Island, and Calendar Girls.. Tim’s film credits include Calendar Girls and Kinky Boots.

Greatest Days the Take That musical to tour the UK and Ireland in 2023 / 2024
Producer Adam Kenwright has announced that Greatest Days - The Official Take That Musical, is to embark on a UK and Ireland tour in 2023. Previously known as The Band, the show has a book by award winning playwright Tim Firth, and the tour kicks off from 5 May 2023. The tour coincides with the release of the official movie version of the musical in Summer 2023, starring Aisling Bea and Jayde Adams. The timing also coincides with the 20th Anniversary of Take That’s first ever UK number 1 single - Pray. Casting is to be announced, plus further dates will be added in cities including Blackpool, Glasgow, Bristol, Nottingham, Edinburgh, Southampton, Truro, Leeds, Leicester and Birmingham.
