Award-winning Israeli singer and actress Miri Mesika has performed a song from the forthcoming European premiere of David Yazbek and Itamar Moses’ musical The Band’s Visit at the Donmar Warehouse. Miri sings the song "Omar Sharif" from the show, in which she plays Dina, a café owner in a desert town in Israel. When an Egyptian police band arrive lost, Dina forms a connection with the band’s conductor Tewfiq.
