Following a smash-hit revival in 2022, the National Theatre production of The Crucible transfers to the Gielgud Theatre for a limited engagement this summer.

HBO’s House of the Dragon star Milly Alcock stars as Abigail Williams in the play, alongside a stellar cast that includes Brian Gleeson (Peaky Blinders), Caitlin FitzGerald (Succession), Ron Cook (Hot Fuzz), Fisayo Akinade (Heartstopper) and Matthew Marsh (Dunkirk).

Olivier Award-winner Lyndsey Turner directs this electrifying new production with designs by Es Devlin in a “magnificent restaging” (Telegraph) of Arthur Miller’s masterpiece, a gripping parable of power and its abuse.

The Crucible runs from 7 June 2023 to 2 September 2023 at the Gielgud Theatre London.
