The stars of the show, Aimie Atkinson (Six The Musical, In The Heights) and Strictly Come Dancing favourite Danny Mac (White Christmas, Sunset Bouelvard) are booked to stay until 13 November 2022, with a new – to be revealed – cast set to take over from 14 November.
Also extending their time on Wiltshire Boulevard are Bob Harms as Happy Man/Mr Thompson, Rachael Wooding as Kit De Luca and Mark Holden as James Morse.
From Tuesday 14 June 2022 existing cast member John Addison will take on the role of ‘Philip Stuckey’ and will be joined by new company members Becky Anderson, Matt Bateman, Robertina Bonano, Georgia Kleopa, Elishia Edwards, Helen Hill, Kurt Kansley, Curtis Patrick and Hassun Sharif.
The cast for Pretty Woman: The Musical is completed by Jemma Alexander, Andy Barke, Patrick Barrett, Oliver Brenin, Alex Charles, Ben Darcy, Hannah Ducharme, Tom Andrew Hargreaves, Antony Hewitt, Elly Jay, Matt Jones, Annabelle Laing, Will Luckett, Cilla Silvia and Charlotte Elisabeth Yorke.
Based on the much loved film starring Julia Roberts and Richard Gere, the story centres on a call girl and a hard-nosed business man, who despite their different circumstances and backgrounds, fall in love.
Directed and choreographed by musical supremo Jerry Mitchell (Kinky Boots, Hairspray, Legally Blonde) the smash-hit musical features music and lyrics by American singer-songwriter Bryan Adams and his writing partner Jim Vallance and a book by Garry Marshall and J.F. Lawton.
Featured in the musical is Roy Orbison and Bill Dee’s international smash hit song ‘Oh, Pretty Woman’ which inspired one of the most beloved romantic comedy films of all time.
Pretty Woman is one of a number of juke box musicals currently playing in London’s West End with Jersey Boys, Moulin Rouge! The Musical, Mamma Mia!, Get Up, Stand Up! The Bob Marley Musical, & Juliet, The Drifters Girl and Tina – The Tina Turner Musical all packing in crowds.
