New West End Videos: Frozen, Dear Evan Hansen, Grease starring Samantha Barks, Stephanie McKeon, Sam Tutty, Olivia Moore

A slew of new videos have been released in the last few days showcasing big West End stars and shows.

Samantha Barks and Stephanie McKeon from Frozen, Sam Tutty and the cast of Dear Evan Hensen, and Olivia Moore fromGrease all feature in the new videos.

Disney’s Frozen The Musical at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane put out a brand new video of the show’s stars, Samantha Barks and Stephanie McKeon, singing I Can’t Lose You from the show. The video looked tantalisingly like a recording session, prompting much speculation that there will a London cast recording of Frozen coming up soon.

Frozen opened at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane in August 2021, and recently bagged four Olivier Award nominations, including Stephanie McKeon up for Best Actress in a Musical for her role as Anna. Frozen has music and lyrics by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, a book by Jennifer Lee, and is directed by Michael Grandage. The cast includes Samantha Barks (Elsa), Stephanie McKeon (Anna), Obioma Ugoala (Kristoff), Craig Gallivan (Olaf), Oliver Ormson (Hans), Richard Frame (Weselton), and alternating the role of Sven, Mikayla Jade and Ashley Birchall; with Jeremy Batt, Cameron Burt, Lauren Chia, Laura Emmitt, Emily-Mae (Bulda), Hannah Fairclough, Danielle Fiamanya, Chris Fung (King Agnarr), Matt Gillett, Joe Griffiths-Brown, Emily Lane, Justin-Lee Jones, Jason Leigh Winter, Jacob Maynard, Leisha Mollyneaux, Sarah O’Connor, Jemma Revell, Joshua St. Clair (Pabbie), Jacqui Sanchez (Queen Iduna), Jak Skelly (Oaken/Bishop), Jake Small, Kerry Spark, Isabel Snaas, Monica Swayne, and Anna Woodside.

Another all new video is the star of the forthcoming production of Grease The Musical at the Dominion Theatre, Olivia Moore, singing “Hopelessly Devoted To You”.

Olivia plays Sandy in the show, alongside Dan Partridge as Danny. Grease opens at the Dominion Theatre on 17 May 2022.

Other cast include Peter Andre as Vince Fontaine at certain performances, special guest star Jason Donovan as Teen Angel at certain performances for 6 weeks from 29 June, plus Jocasta Almgill as Rizzo, Paul French as Kenickie, Mary Moore as Jan, Jake Reynolds as Doody, Lizzy-Rose Esin-Kelly as Marty, Damon Gould as Sonny, Eloise Davies as Frenchie, Jessica Croll as Patty Simcox, Katie Lee as Cha Cha, Ronan Burns as Johnny Casino and Corinna Powlesland as Miss Lynch. Darren Bennett will play Officer Mailie and Vince Fontaine at certain performances.

Hit Best Musical Olivier Award winner Dear Evan Hansen at the Noel Coward Theatre has released a new video of star Sam Tutty, and the cast of the show, singing You Will be Found.

The cast of the show includes Sam Tutty – who recently returned to play the title role, alongside Lucy Anderson (Zoe Murphy), Doug Colling (Connor Murphy), Marcus Harman (who plays Evan Hansen at certain performances), Jack Loxton (Jared Kleinman), Rebecca McKinnis (Heidi Hansen), Lauren Ward (Cynthia Murphy), Rupert Young (Larry Murphy) and Iona Fraser (Alana Beck). Completing the Company are Tricia Adele-Turner, Haydn Cox, Hannah Lindsey, Mark Peachey and James Winter with new cast members Ellis Kirk, Samantha Mbolekwa, Hannah Qureshi and Mitchell Zhangazha.
