Check out the latest photos and videos from West End Live 2026, this past weekend’s free annual theatre festival in Trafalgar Square, hailed as the ‘Glastonbury for theatre lovers’.
Now in its 21st year, West End LIVE drew a crowd of over 70,000 people this past weekend and featured performances from over 60 productions across the West End and beyond.
This year’s line up included classics Les Misérables, Mamma Mia! and Oliver! as well as newer shows to the West End, like Olivier Award-winning Paddington The Musical, Into the Woods and Sinatra The Musical.

Into The Woods performed ‘Agony’ at West End LIVE 2026. The Olivier Award-winning Best Musical Revival (2026) is set to transfer to the West End in September.
New West End biographical musical Sinatra the Musical officially opens this week. The cast performed ‘Come Rain Or Come Shine’ from the show at West End LIVE 2026.

What is West End LIVE?
Launched in 2005, West End LIVE is organised by Westminster City Council and the Society of London Theatre, with support from the Mayor of London.
West End LIVE is Europe’s biggest free musical theatre festival, transforming Trafalgar Square into an open-air theatre like no other. The line up features performances from London’s best musicals, performed live, as the ultimate celebration of London’s famous West End for theatre fans young and old. Thousands of theatre fans show up for the free musical theatre event, which always runs over a weekend every June.
