Watch: Harry Judd talks High School Musical
In the video, the McFly drummer and Strictly Come Dancing champion shares his excitement about stepping into the iconic role, tackling the nostalgia of the franchise, and bringing his own athletic energy to the stage.
“I can’t wait to ‘Get My Head in the Game’ and bring this story to life on stage,” Judd said when the show was first announced earlier this month. “I’m looking forward to sharing all the energy, heart, and nostalgia of High School Musical with fans old and new.”
Harry Judd brings serious star power to the London run. As a member of McFly, he has achieved seven top 10 albums and sold over 10 million records worldwide. Alongside his pop career, he won the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing in 2011, starred in the hit dance show Rip It Up, and recently captivated audiences on Celebrity Race Across the World.

KayCee Stroh and a star-studded cast
Joining Judd in the London production is an incredibly talented principal cast.
In a treat for fans of the franchise, the lineup includes the original High School Musical film star KayCee Stroh – who played Martha Cox in the movies – starring on stage as the eccentric drama teacher, Ms Darbus.
The musical also features West End stars Tobias Turley (Mamma Mia!) as Troy Bolton, Leonor Correia (SIX) as Gabriella Montez, Caitlin Tipping (SIX) as Sharpay Evans, and Luke Bayer (Titanique) as Ryan Evans.
An immersive Wildcats experience
This 20th-anniversary revival promises to completely transform the Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre into a full-scale, immersive basketball court.
Co-directed by Joseph Houston and William Whelton, with high-energy choreography by Aaron Renfree, the production features all the chart-topping hits from the 2006 film, including “Breaking Free,” “Stick to the Status Quo,” and “We’re All In This Together.”
