The Pulitzer Prize-winning opera Angel’s Bone by Du Yun comes to the London Coliseum with the English National Opera this October, following its UK premiere at Aviva Studios, Manchester.
Fusing multiple musical genres, spoken word and immersive staging, Angel’s Bone follows a financially struggling couple who are forced to reckon with their own shortcomings after discovering two injured angels in their garden and taking them in.
Directed by Kip Williams (Dracula, The Maids), this contemporary opera is a powerful, dark fable that delves deep into the harrowing realities of modern-day slavery and human trafficking.
