Full casting has been confirmed for the highly anticipated revival of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s CATS, which arrives at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre this summer.
The major new production, directed and choreographed by the venue’s Artistic Director Drew McOnie (Jesus Christ Superstar, The Artist), is set to run from 25 July to 12 September 2026.

A star-studded tribe of Jellicles
The cast is led by West End veteran Gary Wilmot (Anything Goes) as Gus the Theatre Cat, with Melanie La Barrie (& Juliet, Hadestown) taking on the role of the wise patriarch Old Deuteronomy.
Rachael Wooding (Standing at the Sky’s Edge) will star as Grizabella, performing the show’s iconic showstopper “Memory.” The principal line-up also features Diante Lodge as Macavity/Admetus and Jet Yau as the magical Mr. Mistoffelees/Quaxo.

A new vision for a classic
Based on T.S. Eliot’s Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats, this revival promises to reimagine the Jellicle Ball for the unique and beautiful outdoor setting of Regent’s Park.
Following its strictly limited London engagement, the production is scheduled to embark on a major UK tour.
The score by Andrew Lloyd Webber, one of the most successful in musical theatre history, includes “The Jellicle Ball,” “Macavity: The Mystery Cat,” and the chart-topping hit “Memory.”
