It only feels like yesterday that Paddington The Musical premiered in the West End, and already it’s 100 performances old!
Last night, 5 February 2026, saw Paddington The Musical celebrate its 100th performance at the Savoy Theatre in London.
Since its star-studded premiere in late November, the production has turned from a highly anticipated newcomer into the most successful show in the West End.
Almost as soon as performances began, Paddington extended its run at the Savoy Theatre in London, and tickets are now booking to 14 February 2027.

A Record-Breaking Run
Paddington has become a bona fide phenomenon, boasting a rare five-star clean-sweep of critical acclaim. Five-star reviews have poured in from The Guardian, The Standard, and The Independent, among others, cementing its status as a modern classic. Read a reviews round-up for Paddington.
While the show is currently booking through to 14 February 2027, Paddington fans will need to act fast as most performances are sold out until late summer 2026, with only premium seats available if you want to catch the magic sooner.
The Creative Vision
The success of the show stems from how loved Paddington is as a story and a character – and the show’s powerhouse creative team. The score, written by McFly’s Tom Fletcher, brings a contemporary energy to the story, perfectly complemented by a book by Olivier Award-winner Jessica Swale (Nell Gwynn). Under the direction of Luke Sheppard (Starlight Express), the world of Michael Bond is brought to life with stunning scenic design by Tom Pye and vibrant choreography by Ellen Kane.

Paddington stars Timi Akinyosade (Man Like Mobeen) as Tony, Amy Booth-Steel (Coronation Street) as Lady Sloane, Tarrin Callender (Hamilton) as Grant, Delilah Bennett-Cardy (The Magic Faraway Tree) as Judy Brown, Adrian Der Gregorian (Roman Holiday) as Mr. Brown, Tom Edden (Crazy For You) as Mr. Curry, Brenda Edwards (We Will Rock You) as Tanya, Amy Ellen Richardson (Extraordinary Women) as Mrs. Brown, Victoria Hamilton-Barritt (Hadestown) as Millicent Clyde, Teddy Kempner (Girl From The North Country) as Mr. Gruber and Bonnie Langford (Les Misérables) as Mrs. Bird.
The role of Jonathan Brown is played by Joseph Bramley, Leo Collon, Stevie Hare and Jasper Rowse. The show is also currently looking for more young actors to play the role of Jonathan in the show.
Paddington is played by James Hameed as the Off-stage Performer and Remote Puppeteer, and Arti Shah as the On-stage Performer. The Alternate Paddington On-stage Performers are Abbie Purvis and Ali Sarebani.
