Oscar-winning movie Whiplash starring Miles Teller and JK Simmons is coming to the Eventim Apollo in London, accompanied by a live band.
Whiplash in Concert is playing at the Eventim Apollo on 21 January 2026.
The much-loved movie was written and directed by Damien Chazelle, with music composed by Justin Hurwitz (La La Land, First Man, Babylon).
The movie will be accompanied at the Eventim Apollo by a live 18-piece jazz big band, conducted by Justin Hurwitz himself, and featuring world-class drummer Greyson Nekrutman.
Whiplash tells the story of an ambitious young drummer, Andrew, studying at an elite jazz conservatory in New York City, and his ruthless instructor, Fletcher, who pushes Andrew to the brink in the pursuit of greatness.
