The producers of the forthcoming UK and Ireland tour of Mean Girls The Musical have announced full casting, including Steps’ Faye Tozer.
Mean Girls The Musical opens at Manchester Opera House on 23 February 2026, and then visits Cardiff, Stoke-on-Trent, Sunderland, Milton Keynes, Eastbourne, Woking, Leicester, Aberdeen, Cheltenham, Hull, Bournemouth, Belfast, Wolverhampton, Glasgow, Southend, Llandudno, Canterbury, Blackpool, Dublin, Bristol, Crawley, Bradford, Norwich, Liverpool, Nottingham, Sheffield, Edinburgh, London Wimbledon, Birmingham, Oxford, Southampton, and Newcastle. Faye Tozer will play Ms Heron/Ms Norbury/Mrs George in the show for all dates up to and including Blackpool. Casting for the role in subsequent venues is to be announced.
Also, Ben Oatley (Les Misérables) is joining the cast as Aaron Samuels, and Kiara Dario (The Great Gatsby) is playing Gretchen Wieners.
Already announced in the cast are Emily Lane (Frozen The Musical) as Cady Heron, alongside Vivian Panka (Dear Evan Hansen) as Regina George, Sophie Pourret (The Great Gatsby) as Karen Smith, Georgie Buckland (The Devil Wears Prada) as Janis Sarkisian, Max Gill (Fangirls) as Damian Hubbard, Karim Zeroual (Strictly Come Dancing) as Kevin Ganatra and Joshua Elmore (La Traviata) as Mr Duvall.
Also announced in the ensemble are Charlie Barnard, Rebekah Bryant, Michael Dean-Wson, Savannah Ffrench, Fergie Fraser, Thomas Gotobed, Jenny Huxley-Golden, Trisha Kumar, Sadie Levett, Arjun Mudahar, Jessie Odeleye, Stefanos Petri, Charlotte Pourret, Jack Rose, Tori Louise Ryan, Lillia Squires and Jayd’n Tyrone.
Faye Tozer is a member of BRIT Award-winning pop band Steps. Faye’s West End credits include Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, and touring productions of 101 Dalmatians, 42nd Street, In The Spotlight, Me And My Girl, Love Shack, Tell Me On A Sunday, and Singin’ in The Rain.
Faye was briefly starring in Dita von Teese’s Diamonds and Dust at the Emerald Theatre in London before the show was cancelled.
Emily Lane is currently starring in Sleeping Beauty at the London Palladium.
Based on the hit movie, Mean Girls had its first West End performance at the Savoy Theatre on 5 June 2024, winning Best New Musical at the 2025 WhatsOnStage Awards.

The show had its world premiere in 2017 at the National Theatre in Washington, D.C. and opened on Broadway in April 2018 at the August Wilson Theatre.
Directed and choreographed by Casey Nicholaw (Disney’s Hercules, The Book of Mormon), Mean Girls The Musical has music and vocal arrangements by Jeff Richmond (30 Rock, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt), lyrics by Nell Benjamin (Legally Blonde), and a book by the film’s screenwriter Tina Fey (30 Rock).
The show’s scenic design is by Scott Pask, costume design by Katrina Lindsay, lighting design by Kenneth Posner, sound design by Brian Ronan, hair design by Josh Marquette, musical supervision/vocal, dance, incidental and additional music arrangements by Mary-Mitchell Campbell, orchestrations by John Clancy and dance and incidental music arrangements by Glen Kelly.
