The cast recording of Jamie Lloyd’s acclaimed production of Evita starring Rachel Zegler has been confirmed for release.

After much speculation, the 10-track cast album will be released soon, although a release date is yet to be confirmed.

The cast recording, released on The Other Songs label, will include Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice songs Oh What A Circus, Buenos Aires, I’d be Surprisingly Good for You, Another Suitcase in Another Hall, A New Argentina, Don’t Cry For Me Argentina, High Flying Adored, Rainbow High, And The Money Kept Rollin In (And Out) and You Must Love Me.

The album will be available digitally, on white and blue marble vinyl and CD, and was recorded live at The London Palladium in summer 2025, featuring the current cast of the show.

Don’t Cry For Me Argentina performed by Rachel Zegler, was the first track to be unveiled from the new recording, reaching number 1 on the Official UK Vinyl Singles Chart on three occasions.

Today has seen the release of the second single, Rainbow High. Rainbow High is out now on all major streaming platforms including Spotify, Amazon and iTunes.

The album is produced by Andrew Lloyd Webber, Jamie Lloyd, Adam Fisher and Alan Williams. Executive Producers are Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber.

Evita opened at the London Palladium in June, with near‑unanimous five‑star reviews from London critics.

Evita also stars Diego Andres Rodriguez (Sunset Boulevard) as Che, James Olivas (American Idiot) as Juan Perón, Aaron Lee Lambert (Hamilton) as Agustín Magaldi and Bella Brown (Hadestown) as The Mistress / Alternate Eva.

The Ensemble of Evita includes Carl Au, Gabriela Benedetti, Shakara Brown, Damian Buhagiar, Kyeirah D’Marni, Sally Frith, DeAngelo Jones, Lucas Koch, Natasha Leaver, Michael Lin, Dianté Lodge, Louis Mackrodt, Mireia Mambo, Mia Mullarkey, Perry O’Dea, Alysha Sontae, Monica Swayne, Jon Tsouras and Harrison Wilde, with Myla Carmen, Barney Hudson, Nathan Louis-Fernand, Kirsty Anne Shaw, Ricardo Spriggs and Regan Bailey Walker as Swings. Auora Breslin, Lois Haidar, Siena Merilind-Wu and Ffion Rosalie Williams share the role of The Child.

Last week it was announced that Rachel Zegler would be performing in concert at the London Palladium in October.

The concert sold out almost immediately, and a matinee performance was quickly added for the 5 October concert, but that also sold out the same day.

The concert promises to showcase Rachel’s extraordinary vocal talents in an intimate, unforgettable evening of music and storytelling.
