The second single from the new Evita album has dropped, with Rainbow High out today sung by Rachel Zegler and the cast of Jamie Lloyd’s blockbuster reimagining of Evita.
Rachel Zegler plays former Argentine First Lady Eva Perón in Lloyd’s reimagining of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s musical. The show is now in its final week at the London Palladium, finishing on 6 September.

The first single of the new cast recording, released in July, is Rachel Zegler singing Act Two opening anthem Don’t Cry For Me Argentina.
Alongside a studio version of the classic song, the digital version also features an alternate version of Don’t Cry For Me Argentina featuring Rachel Zegler singing the song live from the balcony outside of the London Palladium – where she performs the song every night to crowds outside the theatre. The single was also released as an exclusive blue 7″ vinyl, and hit No. 1 in the Official UK Vinyl Singles Chart. Earlier this week Rachel Zegler attended a record signing event in London.
There’s still no news of a date for the release of the full cast recording of Evita.

Last week it was announced that Rachel Zegler would be performing in concert at the London Palladium in October.
The concert sold out almost immediately, and a matinee performance was quickly added for the 5 October concert, but that also sold out the same day.
The concert promises to showcase Rachel’s extraordinary vocal talents in an intimate, unforgettable evening of music and storytelling.

Directed and reimagined by Jamie Lloyd (Sunset Boulevard, A Doll’s House), Evita stars Golden Globe winner Rachel Zegler (West Side Story, Snow White) as Eva Perón, and Diego Andres Rodriguez (Sunset Boulevard) as Che.
Evita opened at the London Palladium in June, with near‑unanimous five‑star reviews from London critics.
The cast also includes James Olivas (American Idiot) as Juan Perón, Aaron Lee Lambert (Hamilton) as Agustín Magaldi and Bella Brown (Hadestown) as The Mistress / Alternate Eva.
