The producers of new London burlesque show Diamonds and Dust at the Emerald Theatre have cancelled the September 2025 performances scheduled for the show.
The show was originally booking from its start date on 16 June, to 28 September 2025. However, following 12 performances in July the production paused until the beginning of August. Then at the end of July the production announced that Diamonds and Dust would be restarting on 18 September 2025.
Those September dates have also now been cancelled, with LW Tickets, who are running the ticketing for the venue, telling customers that, “due to ongoing production challenges, the producers of Diamonds and Dust have made the very difficult decision to cancel all remaining performances scheduled for 18 – 21 September 2025, and remain on hiatus until new management is in place.”
Any ticket holders for September dates will be contacted by their point of purchase.
Diamonds and Dust was originally produced by Tosca Rivola, Dita Von Teese, with Dee Parsons and Julian Stoneman of Creative House Productions (Magic Mike Live), and with co-producers Sydney Max Lee, Sienna Sinclaire, Robert Testagrossa and Paul Dainty.
Diamonds and Dust starred Steps and musical theatre star Faye Tozer (101 Dalmatians, 42nd Street) as Miss Kitty LeRoy in a show created by international burlesque sensation Dita Von Teese, who was scheduled to appear at some performances as Lady Luck.
Dita von Teese is also touring the UK in January and February 2026 with her new show Dita Von Teese: Nocturnelle, which is not affected by the Diamonds and Dust postponement.
A joint statement issued by the producers on social media back in July, and which has now been removed, said that cancelling performances, “isn’t a decision we made lightly, and we know how disappointing this news is – especially for those who’ve supported us from the very beginning. We’re an independent production and theatre pushing to keep the burlesque art form alive in London, both for our bustling performer community and our lovely audiences. Burlesque and cabaret houses have been closing all [over] the world, and it is our mission [to] preserve our rich tradition. Despite the growing pains, we will be back bolder and brighter!”

Other shows scheduled for the Emerald Theatre include Emerald Storm, an electrifying new dance show from West End star Adam Garcia, coming to the Emerald Theatre from 2 to 7 September 2025.
The show blends the power of Irish dance with the precision of modern tap, and is co-written and co-choreographed by Adam Garcia (The Bodyguard, A Chorus Line), and stars Britain’s Got Talent finalist Tom Ball, viral tap sensation Bayley Graham and Lord of the Dance’s Olivia Graydon.
