New casting has been announced for Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club in London.
From 22 September 2025, Grammy Award winner Reeve Carney (Hadestown, Gucci) will star as The Emcee, with double Tony Award nominee and Grammy Award winner Eva Noblezada (Cabaret, The Great Gatsby) as Sally Bowles.
Reeve Carney and Eva Noblezada, who are engaged to be married, will have their final performance in Cabaret on Saturday 24 January 2026.
They will star alongside Ian Charleson Award nominee Baker Mukasa as Clifford Bradshaw, Olivier Award winner Ruthie Henshall as Fraulein Schneider, Olivier Award nominee Robert Hands as Herr Schultz and Lucas Koch as Ernst Ludwig.
Also joining the cast of Cabaret from 22 September are Joe Atkinson, Xavion Campbell-Brown, Olivia-Rose Deer, Anya Ferdinand, Danny Fogarty, Manu Sarswat, Tom Scanlon and Eva-Rose Tanaka.
Continuing in the company are Jessica Kirton as Fraulein Kost/Fritzie, alongside Adrian Grove, Ela Lisondra, Hícaro Nicolai, Andy Rees, Alexandra Regan, Marina Tavolieri and Lucy Young.
The prologue company are Rachel Benson, Ami Benton, Joseph Hardy, James Hastings, Andrew Linnie, Dak Mashava, Nethra Menon, Oluwatosin Omotosho, Jack William Parry, Jazmyn Raikes and Kristin Wei Wong.
Directed by Rebecca Frecknall (A Streetcar Named Desire), Cabaret is winner of a record-breaking 7 Olivier Awards, and boasts an iconic score, with music by John Kander, lyrics by Fred Ebb, and a book by Joe Masteroff, based on the play by John Van Druten and stories by Christopher Isherwood.
Cabaret recently announced that it is extending its run in London, and is now booking to 23 May 2026.
On 7 July 2025, Cabaret celebrated playing 1,500 performances in London with an all-star gala that included the original Emcee of Rebecca Frecknall’s production, Eddie Redmayne.
The new stars of Cabaret
Reeve Carney is back in the West End after playing Orpheus in Hadestown, a role he created at the National Theatre and also played on Broadway. His screen credits include Tom Ford in Ridley Scott’s Gucci, Dorian Gray in Penny Dreadful. Reeve also starred in Julie Taymor’s blockbuster Broadway show Spider-Man Turn Off The Dark.
Eva Noblezada returns to the part of Sally Bowles after playing the role in Rebecca Frecknall’s Broadway production of Cabaret. Other recent Broadway credits include The Great Gatsby and Miss Saigon. Eva also starred in Hadestown at the National, on Broadway and in the West End, and was nominated for a Tony Award. Movie work includes Easter Sunday and Yellow Rose, and TV film Luck.
In February this year, Eva Noblezada and Reeve Carney starred together in a Live in London show at His Majesty’s Theatre.
Baker Mukasa is an Ian Charleson Award nominee for The Comedy of Errors at the RSC. His other RSC credits include The Winter’s Tale and Troy Story. Baker’s West End credits include Tina – The Tina Turner Musical, A Christmas Carol at the Old Vic and Standing at the Sky’s Edge at the Gillian Lynne.
Ruthie Henshall is a five-time Olivier Award nominee, winning the award for She Loves Me. Her theatre credits include Grizabella in Cats, Fantine in Les Misérables, Nancy in Oliver!, Roxie Hart, Velma Kelly and Mama Morton in Chicago and Mrs Wilkinson in Billy Elliot, plus the original London productions of Miss Saigon, Children of Eden, Crazy for You, Peggy Sue Got Married and Marguerite.
Cabaret’s current London run
The show currently stars Bridgerton’s Hannah Dodd as Sally Bowles and Olivier Award nominee Rob Madge (My Son’s a Queer But What Can You Do?) as The Emcee, until 20 September 2025.
The current cast also includes Daniel Bowerbank as Clifford Bradshaw, Fenton Gray as Herr Schultz, Fred Haig as Ernst Ludwig and Jessica Kirton as Fraulein Kost/Fritzie.
The cast is completed by Xenoa Campbell-Ledgister, Sam Darius, Damon Gould, Adrian Grove, El Haq Latief, Justin-Lee Jones, Ela Lisondra, Hícaro Nicolai, Andy Rees, Alexandra Regan, Marina Tavolieri, Ben Simon Wilson, Anne-Marie Wojna, Patrick Wilden and Lucy Young.

Cabaret is directed by Rebecca Frecknall.
The creative team also includes set and costume design by Tom Scutt, and choreography by Julia Cheng. Musical supervision is by Jennifer Whyte and musical direction is by Ben van Tienen, with lighting design by Isabella Byrd and sound design by Nick Lidster. The casting director is Stuart Burt and the original associate director and prologue director is Jordan Fein. The prologue composer and musical director is Angus MacRae.
