Producers of Little Dancer – A New Musical in Concert have announced further casting ahead of the show’s UK premiere at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane in London.
Little Dancer is playing for one night only at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane, on 27 July 2025.
Casting already announced includes principal dancer with the New York City Ballet and Olivier Award nominee, Tiler Peck (Étoile) as Young Marie, with West End stars Julian Ovenden (South Pacific, Downton Abbey) as Edgar Degas, and Laura Pitt-Pulford (Standing at the Sky’s Edge) as Adult Marie.
The concert will also star David Albury (Get Up Stand Up The Musical) as Christian, Imogen Amos as Charlotte, Imogen Bailey (Shrek The Musical) as Antoinette, Josefina Gabrielle (The Baker’s Wife) as Martine, Debbie Kurup (The Devil Wears Prada) as Mary Cassatt and Rohan Tickell (Les Misérables) as Corbeil.
The cast is completed by an ensemble of Derek Aidoo, Adam Crossley, Sebastian Goffin, Josie Harbertson, Jacob Hughes, Britt Lenting, Nell Martin, Gabriela Rodriguez, Holly Saw, Lowri Shone, Jessica Templeton, Gabriella Tooma and Jack Wilcox. Amy Ruggiero is Off-Stage Young Marie Cover with Simi Jolaoso and Ying Ue Li as Soprano Booth Singers.
The show tells the compelling tale of Marie van Goethem, the young ballerina who posed for Degas before disappearing into the underworld of 19th century Paris.
The show comes to London following critically acclaimed, sold-out productions in Washington D.C. and Seattle, and features music by Stephen Flaherty and book and lyrics by Lynn Ahrens, the Tony Award-winning team behind Ragtime, Anastasia, and Once on This Island.
Little Dancer is directed and choreographed by five-time Tony and Olivier Award winner Susan Stroman, whose West End and Broadway credits include Smash, The Producers, Crazy for You, Oklahoma! and Contact.
The creative team also includes Beowulf Boritt (Scenic Design), William Ivey Long (Costume Design), Ken Billington (Lighting Design), Kai Harada (Sound Design) and Jill Green CDG (Casting).
The production is brought to the London stage by Anita Waxman Productions, Tegan Summer Theatricals, Shea Theatricals, Sharon A. Carr, and Patricia R. Klausner.
